Alignment
We look for shifts, tilts, rotations and bends.
EquiPilates classes are available: Virtually, and by prior arrangement. Workshops at the stables by prior arrangement too. Working with riders to breathe, and increase core awareness for a stronger, balanced ride.
Breathing
Next time you ride your horse, count your breathing pattern in walk, trot and canter. Breathe, tune into your horse, hold your breath. Notice how your horse changes its behaviour when you hold your breath?
Centring
We look at movement, balance, position in saddle, hands, feet, hat peak line. Then work on areas where you have complete control; core engagement, hand position, foot tension, pelvic bowl, and sternum. make a few tweaks to create space, to free up your horse to be light on forehand.
“How did you know my toes were scrunched and I rode wearing my wedding ring? ”

“Lucia is incredibly welcoming and has such a wide knowledge base from which she draws. Both myself and my horses have enjoyed working with her through equine massage and Pilates classes.”
